Program Notes: One of the things I love about Kansas City, especially having moved here from Southern California, is getting to experience snow in the winter. Snowfall depicts the quiet calm of a winter evening, with shifting timbres representing shifting shadows of moonlight shining through swaying trees, and pizzicato in the center section representing the falling snow.
